- Wednesday, February 9, 2011--Knox County Lobbying 101. TEP's Advancing Equality Day on the Hill is Tuesday March 1st. This is an incredibly important event that provides us an opportunity for face to face contact with our legislatures and a chance to share our stories. We will set up appointments with all of the relevant members of the state house and senate over the course of the day. The prospect of talking to politicians may be a bit intimidating, so to help everyone get up to speed we're hosting this free training session. I encourage everyone who's even considering attending the Day on the Hill to come to the training session.
The training will take place at 7:00pm on Wed Feb 9th at The Church of the Savior at 934 N. Weisgarber Rd. in Knoxville. The church is generously providing child care for the meeting.
